Congratulations to Lauren who recently received an award for her drawing in the “KEEP SAFE” competition sponsored by Newcastle Lions Club.

Halloween: The children enjoyed a range of seasonal activities including ducking for apples, ghost stories and games. Thank you to everyone who sent in sweets, etc for our party.

The groups first task will be to undertake surveys on various environmental issues within the school and then to develop action plans. Litter, Energy, Environment and Recycling are some of the areas that will be addressed. Our aim is to achieve our Bronze and Silver awards this year and then to attain Green Flag status next year.

The Annual Raffle and Quiz:  Families should receive raffle tickets this week. As this is our major fund raising venture of the year we would ask everyone to do their best to sell the tickets. There are extra tickets for those who can sell more. The raffle will take place at FOSA School Quiz on Friday 23rd Nov at 9.30 pm in the Halfway House.

Please come along and support us in what is always an enjoyable night.
