QUIZ NIGHT
Thank you to everyone who supported
the FOSA Quiz Night. We had a
really good night and much needed
funds were raised. Many thanks to
Tony and Dan for hosting the night
and a making the night so
enjoyable. Many thanks also to
those who donated raffle prizes, the
Halfway House and members of the
FOSA. A donation of £1000 will be
made shortly to Glasdrumman GAC for
their kind use of the minibus
throughout the year.
Mervyn the Magician
The
children enjoyed a great performance
from Mervyn last month. The subject
of the performance was recycling. On
the same subject. Thank you to
everyone who sent in black bags
containing clothes. The school
should receive over £100 for.
DISSOLVING BOUNDARIES
The school will be visited by Maire
Ni Laighin – a taecher from our
partner school in Tralee on Monday 3rd
April
LOWER MOURNE PLAYGROUP
The play group
have now moved back to Longstone
Hall. We wish them well in the
future and would like to thank them
for their generous donation.
WORLD BOOK DAY
The children really enjoyed
dressing up on World Book Day. Thank
you to all parents who encouraged
their children to come dressed up.
They looked really well.
LENT
Children will a Penitential Service
on Monday 3rd April. We
shall alos be holding an Easter
Service in school during Holy Week.
The
raffle for Esater Eggs will take
place on Wedbesday 12th
April
Thursday 16th March will
be a
Green clothes Day.
Children can donate £1 for our
Lenten charities for the privilege
of not wearing their uniform on that
day.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS:
After school clubs have started
again for P4 – P7. Please encourage
your child to attend these
activities.
